    Description

    What you are bidding on is an 8 1/2 x 11 inch flyer signed by Frank Herbert.
    Way back in the 20th century (late 1983 to be exact), before the internet, most people were writing TV and movie stars asking for autographed pictures.
    Not me. After finishing his latest novel, I mailed a letter to Frank Herbert (in care of the publisher's mailing address) asking for an autographed picture.
    Not really expecting a reply, I forgot about it.
    In March 1984 this arrived.
    It is a flyer for the agency of George Carlson and Associates. They represented Frank Herbert for speaking engagements.
    And Frank Herbert had signed it!
    I've kept it in the envelope it arrived in, sitting on my bookshelf.
    Flyer in really great shape. Envelope has some wear on the back. See photos for condition.
