The Robotics Squared Animatronic Robot Head is an adult, lifesized, ABS plastic shell housing our RSEP #300 robot eye platform.
The eyes move up/down left/right independently, actuated by 2 micro servo motors.
Positional eyelids open/close. Each eyelid actuated by its own micro servo motor.

Q) What is a servo motor?

A servo (servomechanism) is an         electromagnetic device that converts electricity   into precise controlled motion by use of negative feedback mechanisms. ... The makeup of a typical servo includes a DC motor, a gear train, a potentiometer, an integrated circuit (IC) and an output shaft.
Q) How do I control the head/servos?
Servos require "servo controllers" to operate properly. I suggest starting small and picking a controller to suit how you want to control the head. For beginners I recommend using a rc radio and receiver. This allows for "plug in and play" operation while offering wireless, manual control.

A) The head is for whatever you can imagine doing with it. I see it as a base, where you can add your own mechanisms and devices and essentially make it better, make it your own.
Q) Are there/can you put cameras in the eyes?
A) There are not cameras in the eyes. Drilling the eyes to put cameras in would likely destroy them.
