This is a rare single-page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the Pre-Broadway tryout and WORLD PREMIERE engagement of the new MITCH LEIGH, LEE ADAMS and THOMAS MEEHAN musical comedy "MIKE" at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania beginning March 26th, 1988. (The show, retitled "AIN'T BROADWAY GRAND" would eventually open April 18th, 1993 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City and close after only 25 performances.) ..... This two-sided handbill measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" inches and includes wonderful graphics and production credits on the front and performance dates, promotional text, booking information and a ticket order form on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a minor crease in the lower left corner, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
