ROBBY THE ROBOT

Description

This item is a Forbidden Planet Robby the Robot resin model kit. The robot is a Luna Model Kit, professionally painted and assembled, Luna being the name of the company that produced them in the early 1990’s, but I don’t have the packing that would confirm it. It is an expertly crafted replica of the character in the beloved 1956 film and countless other movie and TV appearances. Any fan of the classic movie will love to have a display of the Forbidden Planet Robby The Robot. The Woman Figure, made of resin, is also assembled, not painted and  represents the actress, Anne Francis, who played in the movie. It is rare to find her along with Robby The Robot, as he is mainly available as one character.
There are 2 minor issues that you will notice. Please look at the photos very carefully.
There is a slight crack in the clear plastic of the face shield, but it does not take away from the beauty of the model. Two of the antennas were broken and I used some epoxy glue to fix that, so they are fine, but if you want to change them, the replacement antennas come with the toy.
This piece has been in my private collection for over 25 years. It was
never played with and it is in great condition.  It makes a wonderful gift for children and adults. It is a great piece to have as a display, as it has a collector’s quality styling.
