Diode Pumped Frequency Doubled YAG Laser Head 20W 808nm - 1064nm - ~2W 532nm
DPSS laser head made by Lightwave Electronics (LWE) for use in ophthalmic surgical systems. These are complete and working, but not producing full power. When tuned and aligned, they are capable of producing >2 watts of  532nm green light. These use a 20W 808nm CS mount laser diode bar to side-pump a 1.6mm diameter YAG rod. We've tested the diodes and guarantee them to perform within spec. The cavity is arranged as a Z-fold with a KTP crystal used for Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) of the 1064nm infrared fundamental wavelength to bright green 532nm. Pinout for the head board will be provided.
To power this head, you'll need
A laser diode driver capable of sourcing up to 30A with a compliance voltage around 2V
A TEC temperature controller rated for 12V @ 10A for the big TEC between the head and the heat sink
A fan to keep the heat sink cool
A small temperature controller for the KTP heater.
